All our cast had real connections to the military. During our casting sessions, I found out more, and hearing Madeline talk about her Grandmother instantly got me engaged. She spoke very passionately about her Grandparents, their story about meeting in the military and how she idolises her Grandmother. I knew I wanted to expand on this and managed to tweak the schedule to allow time to ask her more questions on the day, along with capturing some quick B-roll. Accompanying the initial TVC, I cut the longer foam video featuring just Madaline and offered it up to the agency creatives and clients who also liked it, and it ended up being our preferred video.
